Buena Vista Golf Course is located in Kern county, California about 20 miles on the west side of Bakersfield. It is a public golf course that is owned and run by County of Kern Parks & Recreation division. And Buena Vista Golf Course is one of the 3 gold courses managed by them.
This particular golf course has 18 holes and is spread over 6,710 yards of a hilly terrain. It was designed by George Mifflin and was opened for public in the year 1951.
Buena Vista is a Spanish word which means good view or beautiful view and the name of this golf course is highly appropriate. As one plays through the golf course, the can have a view of the lush green farmlands valley, the Buena Vista Aquatic park and even the mountains.
Buena Vista Golf Course is known for its size, huge eucalyptus trees, Mexican palms and matured pines in and around the Golf course.
It is one of the best golf courses in kern County yet its affordable for everyone.
The fees are fixed differently for avid players and learners, for senior citizens and juniors and offer special rates for weekdays and twilight times. They also offer membership cards on monthly basis which turns out to be a good deal for the avid players. There is a shop inside the premises that sells good quality golf equipments and merchandise for golfers. |
